I’ve always said I would run a marathon one day…November 2nd, 2025 is that day! Ever since moving to NYC almost two years ago, I’ve dreamed about the NYC Marathon being my first one. What’s even better than this, is that I get to run it while raising money for an amazing organization – Keep a Child Alive (KCA)!

KCA is committed to supporting children and young people living with or affected by HIV/AIDS. KCA’s work spans across several countries in Africa and Asia, reaching more than 150,000 children, youth, and adults through essential health, education, and empowerment programs. If you know me, you know this mission speaks directly to my heart.

As we come out of the shadows of the COVID-19 pandemic and reflect on the challenges of the past few years, I’ve found myself thinking more deeply about those who face hardship every single day—not just during a global crises. Supporting KCA is a meaningful way to take action and stand with some of our most vulnerable communities – those already facing poverty, and hunger.

I’ve set a goal to raise $6,000 to support KCA’s life-changing work, and I hope you’ll join me in making a difference! Your gift, no matter the size, provides vital healthcare and medication, creates access to education and safe spaces for children, and supports sustainable community development.
